I am a PhD student at Swansea University studying the control of Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica s.l.) and long-term site restoration post-treatment.
Previously graduated from Swansea University with a master's degree in Environmental Biology; Conservation and Resource Management. Throughout my studies I've developed an interest in terrestrial and freshwater ecology with a specialization in plant ecology and botany.
I started this blog whilst studying for my master's degree and I hope to continue it throughout my PhD studies. Expect posts about nature, veganism and the life of a PhD student as well as more scientific posts.
